Meet The Lowkey Team

I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2017. I’ve worked in public schools, skilled nursing facilities, and in-patient rehab. Before that, I was a special education teacher for 15 years.
After earning a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, I became licensed to practice in Virginia and California. I also hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with people of all ages, from 2 to 100 years old. My experience spans skilled nursing, assisted and independent living, hospitals, long-term care, preschool/Head Start programs, and elementary schools.

Aloha~ I’m Larisa Kalinowski! Based in Hawaii, I’m licensed to practice speech-language pathology in Hawaii, California, and Ohio. Holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, I specialize in providing personalized, high-quality therapy to help children communicate more effectively.
With experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in both kids and adults, I have worked in a variety of settings. My background includes private practice, outpatient clinics for children and adults, hospitals, telehealth, and public and charter schools.
Believing in a team-based approach, I collaborate closely with families to develop individualized therapy plans. In addition, I offer support and guidance to help families build the skills and knowledge needed to foster their child’s communication growth.

I’m a licensed speech-language pathologist in New York and California.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pace University in New York City and my Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Mercy University in Westchester, NY. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals across the lifespan, from young children to adults over 100, in diverse settings including special education, public schools, and skilled nursing/rehabilitation.
I’m passionate about helping people strengthen their communication and connection, because I believe that everyone has a voice worth hearing. I strive to make therapy meaningful, supportive, and tailored to each person’s unique goals.
