We successfully completed another incredible school year of speech therapy, celebrating growth, communication, and achievement every step of the way. Our students worked hard to build essential speech and language skills, and we’re proud of the progress they made throughout the year.

Keep communication skills growing all summer with LowKey Speech’s Summer Speech & Shine program! We created an engaging series of activities to help students practice communication skills in real-world situations from home.
This summer, students will strengthen their speech, language, and social communication skills through everyday experiences. Activities focus on practical situations such as cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, participating in meaningful conversations and more. Each activity encourages natural communication while making learning enjoyable and relevant.
When you click “Join Now,” you’ll receive Summer Speech & Shine activities delivered to your email every two weeks throughout the summer. Every activity includes simple, easy-to-follow ideas that families can adapt to fit different ages, abilities, and communication needs.

Weekend Highlight
If you grew up during the 1970s or 1980s, chances are you became either a Star Trek fan, a Star Wars fan, or, like me, a fan of both iconic science-fiction franchises. This weekend, we enjoyed several movie marathons, and one of the highlights was revisiting the modern Star Trek films featuring Chris Pine as James T. Kirk.
The Star Trek reboot series delivers exciting action, memorable characters, and a fresh take on the beloved crew of the starship Enterprise. Chris Pine brings energy, confidence, and charisma to the role of Captain Kirk, making these films an entertaining experience for longtime Star Trek fans and newcomers alike. Revisiting these movies reminded me why the Star Trek franchise continues to inspire generations of science-fiction fans.
